Please work directly with your PI to determine whether they have funding to sponsor your attendance.

THURSDAY, APRIL 27

8:30am – 11:45am: Two special sessions; those who are attending these sessions will receive an email closer to the time of the meeting with more details.

  1. CSSC segment of meeting (for post-docs and students)
  2. Mesocosm planning meeting (for all those involved with current or future mesocosm experiments)

12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch

1:00pm – 6:00pm: Full, all-hands CEINT meeting and plenary sessions

6:00pm – 7:30pm: Poster session and cocktail hour

FRIDAY, APRIL 28

8:00am – 3:00pm: Full, all-hands CEINT meeting and plenary sessions

MEETING AGENDA:

The agenda will be finalized the week prior the meeting. (It must be created customized to the titles of the posters/presentations and this can only be done when they are all received).

MEETING FORMAT & POSTER SESSION:

In line with previous years’ formats, all participants will be asked to give a 5-minute talk highlighting their research and most important findings. The title submitted is assumed to be the same as the poster title.

The poster session and cocktail hour will take place Thursday evening, April 27th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. All students and post-docs attending are expected to submit a poster; the template can be found under Quick Links, and each individual is responsible for printing and bringing their own poster.

LODGING, TRANSPORTATION, PARKING, CAMPUS MAP:

Once you register for the meeting online, Eileen Kramer will use the travel dates you provide to book the hotel for you automatically; you will not receive a direct confirmation notice. It is imperative that you make sure your dates are accurate and to communicate with Eileen Kramer regarding any arrival/departure changes that might arise after you register to avoid incurring unnecessary charges.

For those who are traveling by car, please park at the Bryan Center Parking Garage off Science Drive. Please see Eileen Kramer at the meeting for a parking pass; limited spaces available. If you are part of the Duke community, please park in your regular assigned parking spaces.
